Shockspital and Freewheel Bike are now combined. The expertise that Shockspital has staked its reputation on and the quality service that you have come to expect from Freewheel are now working together to give you the best possible performance.
Shockspital will be a new larger location, better and more reliable turn around times, better communication. Also more... better... blogging!! Freewheel has always made service a priority and we intend to take that to the next level.
Shockspital will be focused on maintaining its relationships with consumers and shops.
Though no longer an active part of the company, Shockspital founder and mentor Brian Rose is still a source of guidance and inspiration to the entire Shockspital team.
Tyson Acker, aka Primo, spends all of his time at the Midtown Bike Center servicing Fox and Cannondale suspension products. When he's not fixing bikes he's writing computer programs that make Shockspital run smoother or helping his co-workers get things off the top shelf. Tyson has over four years of experience servicing all brands of suspension.
Tyson meyer, aka Secundo, is the Service Manager at the Eden Prairie location of Freewheel Bike. Tyson Meyer is a well rounded mechanic with a loyal fan club that would make Justin Bieber jealous.
Dave Vance is a legend among his peers. He spent time working for Cannondale as a suspension tech. He was a Shimano Tech rep. Now he works at our Eden Prairie location.
Troy is one of those rare suspension technicians that figured it all out on his own before working as a professional bicycle mechanic. He has an uncanny ability to "just know" how things work. He spends all of his time working at the Westbank location.
Sam is a top notch mechanic that has been trained by BRose to service uspension. Sam works at our Westbank location.
You can call Shockspital (1-888-871-2711) or send an email; and we will get back to you directly.
