    Welcome to the Shockspital

Shockspital’s goal is to provide timely service for your mountain bike suspension and disc brakes. Whether you need a fork overhaul, rear shock service, or brake bleed, you found the right place. We provide service for both consumers and shops.

Not sure whether your fork or shock is due for service? Read our helpful diagnosis guide.

Due to multiple factors (unavailability of replacement parts, etc.) we can no longer work on the following suspension components:

    • Manitou SX and Mars Carbon forks
    • Marzocchi forks with tapered lower legs (older models)
    • ProFlex elastomer shocks (we are trying to find a source for replacement elastomers but so far have been unsuccessful)
    • Progressive 5th Element Air rear shocks (we still work on their coil shocks)
    • RockShox Indy, Jett, Judy T2, Judy 21R forks
    • Specialized Brain/AFR rear shocks (contact Specialized or your local Specialized dealer for service)

Here is a list of components we CAN service:

    • Rockshox, Avid
    • Hayes, Manitou
    • Progressive 5th Element (coil only)
    • Stratos
    • Pace and some DT Swiss Forks
    • Marzocchi
    • Magura forks and brakes
    • Cannondale Headshoks and Leftys
    • Fox
    • Formula
    • Maverick
    • Amp Research forks and brakes

...and many more. If in doubt, call/email us and ask. We do service many old and obscure brands.

Most suspension repairs fall between $80 and $180. Disc brake repairs are much less. Just go to the inquiry page and we will get back to you with an estimate, or simply head to admitting to check a job in. Most repairs are back on their way to you in under a week, though some rare products might take a little longer to repair.

All our work is guaranteed for 90 days.
